This ancient spiritual practice, which involves burning Sage or Palo Santo, is excellent for clearing stagnant or dense energy that can weigh us down and impact our vibration. Such energy can lead to feelings of fatigue affecting our overall well-being.


The benefits of using Sage or Palo Santo are significant. Not only does it help dispel negative energy, but it also uplifts your mood and revitalizes your surroundings. You can also easily integrate this practice into your weekly routine or meditation practice for a highly effective boost. Burning these sacred herbs beforehand can prepare your energy and mind, enhancing your ability to connect more deeply and effortlessly.


To invite positive vibes into your life, consider performing this energizing house-clearing ritual:


House Clearing Ritual


Preparation:

Open the Windows:

Allow fresh air to flow through your home, helping negative energies to disperse.

 

Gather Your Materials:

  • Sage or Palo Santo

  • A candle

  • A lighter

 

Set Your Intention:

Begin in the Central Room:

  • Stand in the middle of the room and light the candle to signify the start of your ritual.

  • Close your eyes and focus on your intention. Say: "I set the intention to clear all negative energies, entities, and vibrations from this space. Let every room be filled with unconditional love, light, and protection."

 

Smudging:

Light the Sage or Palo Santo:

  • Light your Sage or Palo Santo or break up a few pieces to produce effective smoke.

 

Cleanse the Space:

  • Move to each corner of the central room, allowing the smoke to permeate and purify the area.

  • Visualize the room being filled in beautiful bright, white light.

  • Repeat the process and move to the next room and continue until your home has been cleansed.

 

When to Smudge

  • After a long day of being around people

  • Before and after a you’ve had guests at your home

  • When you move into a new home

  • After you have been in a public space

  • Before meditation

  • After an argument / conflict

 

Final Visualization:

Complete the Ritual:

  • Once all rooms have been cleared, return to the central room.

  • Visualize a radiant white light connecting each room and forming a protective barrier around the outer walls of your home.

 

Concluding the Ritual:

Expressing Gratitude:

  • Place your hands on your heart and say: "Thank you, and so it is."

  • Extinguish the candle and take a moment to savour the refreshed and vibrant energy in your home.


By completing this ritual, you’ll foster a peaceful, loving, and protected environment that nurtures your well-being.
